Hampden road

In a close suburb of Philadelphia, Hampden Road was the center of my universe in the 50's. This collection of poems starts there and expands like I did.
This collection of poems is close to the earth. Life mimics  gardens. Or is it vice versa?

Conception

My Story

I grew up in a world of have to's. After winning the war my parent's generation was happy with normalcy, predictability and  feeling relatively safe.

Being born into this cocoon felt so stifling that many of us burst into hippie-dom and flapped wings away.

After a satisfying 25 year career as a chiropractor, I broke out of another cocoon- this one of my own making.

What if I took some university classes to learn technique and considered my experiences the poetry of life?

This documentary film was conceived when I was mesmerized by an aerialist and filmed her performance. Then I was enveloped by the beauty of three musicians and filmed them. I expanded to other Creatives. What is the common denominator? Spark...explores that question.
