Adam and Eve shoulda known

that apples are sweet

but can also be tart.

 

Bees make honey but

sometimes they sting.

 

I drunkenly seek

a sweetness

 

that can sour

like leftovers

if left out too long.

 

Yin racing for yang

in some grand design.

 

And I ponder if

dissonance is beauty?

 

or

 

Is it a cosmic

cement that holds

things together

 

stays wet

never sets.
