When you reach a certain age

expectations want you to contract.

Life is lived when you’re young.

When you get older you get leftovers.

The golf games you didn’t have time for.

The hobbies you always wanted to do.

zzzzzzzzz………..

I see it differently.

Childhood is conservative time.

When you follow rules

and make a living

and care what others think

about you.

Now I write with

reckless abandon,

say what I think without

worrying about offending someone.

I don’t want to contract.

I want to expand like an

hot air balloon

and fly…
